The 20-miler that wasn't

Went out for my last "long run" before the Top of Utah Marathon. I felt really good for the first part, then I got the signs of a migraine headache. I said a little prayer and pushed on. Before I knew it, I had my sight back and was really enjoying the run. I found a perfect road that apparently a lot of other runners knew about too. In fact, one runner struck up a conversation with me. I was suprised at how much I enjoyed talking with someone while running. Usually, I've enjoyed my runs for the solitary aspect of it, but I guess after 2 hours of running by yourself, it's nice to have a little company.
On my way back home, my knee began given me troubles and without running to keep my mind off of it, my migraine headach began to give me trouble. Fortunately, my neighbor, Erik, was returning from a getting a haircut, saw me walking on the side of the road, and took pity on me. I was pretty lucky not having to walk the 4 or so miles back home.
